Holden is such a character. For some reason he LOVES street sweepers and garbage trucks, we even have several books about them. Every time one of them comes down our street he can hear it from inside the house and loves to run outside and watch it.
We wrapped up Basketball in March and Carson ended up having a great season. It was really cute because over halfway into the season he hadn't scored a basket, and he was growing quite concerned and frustrated. One morning before his game I was saying the prayer at breakfast and he interrupted me to remind me to pray that he would make a basket. Well, he went from scoring none, to 5 in one game!! It was definitely the highlight of the season.

There was a lot of talk about Johnny the Leprechaun at school and one of the kids' assignments was to build a trap to catch him. Carson loves this stuff and thankfully Travis does too. Carson came up with idea for the trap on is own and Travis made it happen. He is such a good dad and we would be in big trouble without him when it comes to stuff like this. Travis was using his wood saw and spray painting the wood black....it was quite involved.

We woke up on St. Patrick's Day to all sorts of mischief! The leprechaun made a big mess (which is actually the usual state of things around here) in the living room and kitchen and the boys loved getting their own box of Lucky Charms! What was even better was that there was hot wheel in each box! :)
The Leprechaun put G.I. Joes in the fridge...
and misplaced a bunch of other things.
